in September 2022 Krun Labs made a surprise entry into the web3 space with their 10k collection, Corntown.wtf. As Corntown introduced soft-staking (on-chain) almost immediately, an ERC-1155 soon followed as a mintable reward in their “planting” mechanism rewards system. It only cost gas (about $2 ETH) and 405 of the ecosystem Krun tokens to mint what they call “Corny Juice”, or Anti. Holders were encouraged to hold onto this tradeable token as it was later used to mint a Local for the cost of gas (about $5 ETH). This process included the burning of the Corny Juice NFT and receiving a minted Locals NFT.
Once both collections are fully minted out they will work together within the ecosystem using the developed tools and use cases created using the $KRUN token.
